Job Title: Finance Controller

Reports to: Head of Controlling Adhesives Business Unit

Responsibilities:

Business partnering & analysis:

  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions
  • Prepare business unit meetings
  • Monthly review and analysis of the actual business results, comparison with last best estimate; explaining the reasons of deviations and proposals for future steps
  • Budget preparation and control with focus on Personnel and Marketing related expenses (including technical setup in ERP)
  • Review of actual against budgeted performance in tandem with budget holders
  • Marketing and media spend forecasting and tracking, accruals preparation
  • Handling of media invoices, related documents and system operations

Closing & governance:

  • Running and leading monthly, quarterly and yearly closing processes for the Business Unit;
    Control of cost allocation in accordance with company standards
  • Responsible from controlling side for internal/external audits and follow up

Process improvement:

  • Support of constant improvement of the internal controls systems in the organization
  • Support in various global process optimization/implementation projects
Requirements:
  • Higher education
  • Relevant work experience at least 3 years
  • English for regular communication (written and oral)
  • “Can do” mentality with willingness to challenge status quo, drive change and clear ownership of results
  • Excel competent user
    (Pivot tables, reference functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH), data cleaning/unification)
  • PowerPoint basic skills

Would be an additional advantage:

  • Power BI competent user (especially DAX knowledge, experience building dashboards)
  • Advanced Excel user (macros, OLAP tools)
  • Experience in ERP
