We want to appoint a qualified and dynamic IB DP Computer Science Teacher who is internationally minded with a demonstrable passion for and deep understanding of Letovo School vision, mission and values.

Key tasks and responsibilities - To teach IB DP Computer Science classes to the secondary school students aged 16-17
- Demonstrate consistently high expectations of all students and a commitment to raising their achievement and social and emotional well-being. Promote the positive values, attitudes and behaviour expected from all students by treating them with respect and consideration.
- Plan, deliver and review lessons in accordance with the school’s Teacher Standards incorporating the International Baccalaureate’s philosophy regarding Approaches to Teaching and Learning.
- In consultation with the Subject Leader and Programme Coordinator, plan, design and produce unit plans, teaching materials and resources that are appropriate to IB Programme and grade, incorporating IB published documentation, rubrics and guides. All materials to be uploaded onto the school’s Managebac system.
- Demonstrate a capacity to design materials that are differentiated and extended appropriately to meet the age, programme, and ability of students.
- Assess, record and report on the attendance, development, attainment, progress and approaches to learning of all students according to the given deadlines.
- Provide timely, detailed and constructive feedback on all formative and summative assessments via Managebac.
- Attend full staff and departmental meetings and actively participate within them.
Requirements - B.Sc/Master’s Degree in IT or IT-related disciplines
- B. Ed, Bachelors with Teaching Qualification, M. Ed, PGCE or PGDE or similar teaching qualification
- Minimum 3-5 years of IBDP teaching experience in strong IB schools
- Experience as an IT examiner in the subject (preferred)
- Strong teaching experience of students in the middle and diploma years’ age group.
- Experience of teaching gifted and talented students (preferred)
- Outstanding student results
